The Art of Coffee

Brew Cork vs. Original vs. Commuter

When comparing, the Brew Cork offers a true barista experience with its double-wall glass that keeps your drink warmer than the single-wall Original. The cork band is a natural insulator and adds a comfortable grip. Unlike the Commuter, the Brew Cork’s glass is more delicate and not as impact-resistant. It’s ideal for those who enjoy the ritual of coffee, not the rush. Compare our prices to find the best value for your coffee setup.

What is the KeepCup Brew Cork material?

The Brew Cork is made from double-wall borosilicate glass, which is strong and resistant to thermal shock. The band is made from natural cork, providing an insulating barrier between the hot glass and your hand. The lid is made from plastic (polypropylene) and the lid seal is silicone.

Can you put a KeepCup in the dishwasher?

The glass part of the Brew Cork is dishwasher safe. However, the cork band is not – it should be removed and hand washed to prevent damage. Other models like the Commuter and Original have dishwasher-safe glass and plastic parts, but always check care instructions.

Which KeepCup keeps coffee hot longer: Brew Cork or Thermal?

The Thermal keeps coffee hot much longer because it is double-wall stainless steel with vacuum insulation. The Brew Cork’s double-wall glass provides some insulation, but it is not as effective as steel. If you want to extend your drink’s temperature, the Thermal is the best choice.
