Storage Canisters vs Meal Prep Containers: What’s Your Need?

In our JoyJolt kitchen storage range, you’ll find two main types: countertop canisters (like glass jars with wood lids and glass cookie jars) and meal prep containers (2-section and 3-section glass containers with lids). Canisters are perfect for storing dry goods like pasta, coffee, or cookies, while meal prep containers are ideal for portion control and fridge organization. If you prefer bamboo organization, we have drawer organizers and cutting boards that add a natural touch. With prices starting at just $10, it’s easy to build a cohesive storage system. Are JoyJolt glass canisters airtight?

Most JoyJolt canisters with wood lids feature a silicone seal that helps keep contents fresh. However, they are not completely airtight, so they’re best for dry goods like pasta, cereal, or cookies rather than perishable items.

Can JoyJolt meal prep containers go in the oven?

The glass containers are oven-safe up to 400°F, but the plastic lids are not oven-safe and must be removed before heating. Always check the packaging for specific temperature limits.

Are JoyJolt bamboo cutting boards dishwasher safe?

We recommend hand washing bamboo cutting boards to prevent warping or cracking. Submerging them in water or running them through the dishwasher can damage the wood over time.

What sizes are JoyJolt meal prep containers?

Our JoyJolt meal prep containers come in two-section (about 2.5 cups total) and three-section (about 3.5 cups total) sizes. The glass bases are easy to stack and the lids are leak-resistant for transport.
